Zoo

Greenville has a zoo — a small zoo, but a zoo nonetheless. We took L for her first visit Sunday.
She most liked the giraffes, but seemed generally thrilled with everything — especially the way I was toting her about at times.

As usual, L made friends with everyone.
And clearly I wasn’t the only parent running around the zoo, trying to document everything my child does.

Wow…what a funky hat! She really does seem very mobile.
And what a great idea, too.
I wonder where you got the idea of carrying our girl around on your shoulders!!! That brings back a lot of memories! Papa looks forward to repeating this process with our second generation!
Kinuk, it’s just a baret, but it looks kind of funny on her because it’s too big.
Nana, the Girl seems to enjoy being held upside down more than anything else. I’m sure Papa will comply gladly. :)
